We are looking for an experienced, outgoing, friendly, hardworking, dedicated, nice, people friendly, pet friendly, cooperative, willing to work with others, love what you do, dependable, willing to go the extra mile to make the customer happy, reliable groomer to come work with us in our shop.
Those who do not answer the pre-recorded interview questions will not be considered.
Opportunity for full time and every other Saturday. Flexibility and open communication needed. MUST be able to lift large dogs 70lbs and be able to stand on your feet all day. Expectation is 6 small dogs a day once fully trained. This is HARD work and is not playing with puppies all day. Be prepared to get dirty, clean up poo and pee etc. It happens almost daily.
Must have reliable transportation.
Please be fun to work with and love animals. Previous experience is a plus. In shop training provided and must be willing to follow our procedures/methods and be open to feedback.
Position is an employee position, W2 hourly commission tips. All supplies provided (shampoos, brushes etc). Clippers and scissors provided if needed and may be purchased in installments. Shop is very busy with a wait list - you won't have to worry about having dogs to groom! Benefits include large discounts in retail supplies (pet food, toys etc).

We are a rescue friendly shop which adopts out homeless cats and kittens. We are very involved in the community in supporting children and pets - those who can not speak for themselves.
